Reimann Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Hatley, Wisconsin, operates reimannlabs.com. This policy explains how we handle information from this website, its planning tools, and inquiries. A separate service agreement may address information handled for a client project.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you voluntarily provide when you email us, call us, or submit a website inquiry. That information may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, project type, planned investment, timeline, project information, and anything else you choose to share.

Our hosting and security providers may process request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and time of access, to deliver the site and prevent abuse. Analytics and performance information are described separately below.

2. Browser-Based Planning Tools

The Website Planner and Website Checklist (also called Website Checkup) calculate recommendations in your browser. The checklist is a self-assessment; it does not crawl a website or collect its URL. Your individual answers, saved drafts, results, and summaries are not automatically sent to Reimann Labs.

These tools use session storage to save progress and keep results available when you reload or move between the tools in the same tab. The stored items are rl_planner_draft, rl_website_plan, rl_checkup_draft, and rl_website_checkup. Session storage normally ends when the tab or window closes, although a browser’s session-restore feature may preserve it.

“Start over” clears the current tool’s saved draft and result. You can also clear this site’s storage through your browser settings. Copies, printed summaries, or PDFs you choose to save remain wherever you save them.

Using a plan to contact Ethan fills a draft inquiry that you can review and edit. We receive those details only when you send the form or share them by email or another method. With Google Analytics consent, tool events identify that a tool was started, completed, or its next-step action was selected. Those events do not contain individual answers, recommendations, checkup results, or generated summaries.

3. Website Inquiry Form

Website inquiry submissions are processed by Vercel and delivered to Reimann Labs through Resend. Along with the fields you complete, the form sends its page path, page type, service-area context where applicable, available referring-page information, and campaign source, medium, and name. It also uses a submission time and request identifier for abuse and duplicate-delivery controls.

We use submissions to evaluate fit and respond to your request. They are not added to a marketing list without a separate choice. If you have accepted Google Analytics, a successful submission also records its project type and investment range for conversion measurement. We do not include your name, email, phone number, business name, or free-text message in the custom conversion events we send.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the inquiry form to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Turnstile may process limited technical information needed to provide that security check. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our cookie banner controls optional Google Analytics. Its script is not loaded until you accept, and custom interaction events are not queued for later collection before acceptance. If you decline or withdraw consent, Google Analytics measurement is disabled and we remove its accessible first-party cookies for this site.

Your choice is saved in local storage as rl_cookie_consent until you change it or clear site data. This preference, the tool session storage above, and a session-only rl_site_opened flag used to avoid repeating the opening animation are functional browser storage, separate from optional analytics cookies. If browser storage is blocked, the tools still work, but saved progress and preferences may not persist.

You can reopen the banner using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. This choice applies to Google Analytics; it does not disable hosting, spam protection, or the cookie-free Vercel measurements described below.

5. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic, page visits, and actions such as selecting a contact link, using a planning tool, or sending an inquiry. Google may process cookie-based identifiers, page and referral information, device and browser details, and approximate location. These measurements are not the same as anonymous tool calculations in your browser. Our implementation uses Consent Mode v2 and disables advertising personalization and Google signals.

Information may be transmitted to and stored by Google. Learn more through Google’s information for sites using its services.

6. Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate traffic and page-performance measurements. They are loaded independently of the Google Analytics cookie choice. Vercel describes these tools as cookie-free and designed to avoid identifying individual visitors.

Measurements may include page and referral information, filtered URL parameters, device and browser details, approximate location, and loading or responsiveness metrics. Vercel Web Analytics uses a temporary request-derived hash to distinguish visits and discards its visitor-session identifier after 24 hours. 7. How We Use Your Information

We may use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, provide requested services, improve the website, monitor performance, prevent abuse, and meet legal or operational obligations.

We share information with providers needed for hosting, security, analytics, and communication, as described above, and when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We do not sell your inquiry details or use them for targeted advertising. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

8. Your Choices

You may decline or withdraw Google Analytics consent, clear browser storage, and use the tools without submitting an inquiry. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by contacting Hello@ReimannLabs.com. We may need to verify the request and retain information required for legal, accounting, or contractual obligations. Any additional rights available under applicable law remain available.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, for an active business relationship, or to meet legal and accounting obligations. Analytics retention follows our Google Analytics and Vercel settings.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive records in a website inquiry. Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy practices.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for businesses and organizations, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can address it.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our website, tools, or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
